Case Summary:

A recent client of ours is well-known as a leader within the materials science research community. Her exceptional work in the field focuses on the generation of sustainable, non-polluting solar power and storage technology. When she first contacted North America Immigration Law Group (NAILG) to help her obtain a green card, we thoroughly examined her academic credentials and came to the conclusion that she was a perfect fit for EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability).

Building a strong EB1A case:

To begin with, we collected information to prove that our client is part of the “small percentage who has risen to the very top” of the field, and that she met at least 3 out of the 10 EB1A criteria set by the USCIS. The 3 criteria we focused on were:

• Evidence of original contributions that can be witnessed in our client’s exceptional publication record of 65 peer-reviewed scientific articles, 12 patents, and 1 book chapter.

Letters of recommendation:

Besides making sure that our client fulfilled the criteria for EB1A, we also asked her to reach out to other professionals in the field who could corroborate our arguments that her strong background in materials science, high energy physics, and ceramics makes her a valuable addition to the American scientific community. Two of her recommenders included the following statements in their recommendation letters:
