Case Summary:

Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the United States, second only to heart disease, and the increasing prevalence of this disease among Americans clearly demonstrates the urgent need for novel research into the improvement of cancer diagnostic and treatment methods. There is accordingly an urgent national need for continuing contributions of people such as our client who is an expert in the field of biochemistry and is working as a post-doctoral research associate. It is vital for improving the efficiency of drugs used to treat cancer. His continuing work helps reduce the increasing burden cancer is placing on Americans.

Knowing this, it was apparent to us that the client’s NIW (National Interest Waiver) petition had merit and thus, we employed our expert team to be quickly done with the formalities. Once the formalities were out of the way, they started building a winning case for them by looking into his academic and professional background. [Client’s] work allows for the development of efficient and affordable medical imaging equipment that is applicable to cancer detection and treatment.”

These pieces of information put together made for a very effective petition letter. Despite our meticulous presentation of our client’s strong credentials, the USCIS issued a Request for Evidence (RFE). As soon as we received the RFE, our legal team sprang into action.
