Case Summary:

In this case, the client that North America Immigration Law Group – WeGreened.com had the opportunity to work with was a Postdoctoral Research Associate from Taiwan.  Her research had focused on research advancements encompassing multi-scale atmospheric climate and weather modeling as well as simulation, high-resolution imagery data analysis, informatics, and forecasting. We successfully demonstrated that her continued employment in the field would benefit those in her field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving her highly significant contributions to her field, including 4 peer-reviewed scientific articles and 14 conference presentations. Her publications had been cited at least 48 times at the time we filed the caseby researchers around the world from prestigious institutions.  The substantial benefit of her work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “[Her] findings have a direct impact on ameliorating our scientific understanding of thunderstorms, tropical cyclones, extra-tropical cyclones, jet streams, and global-scale circulations. All of her research endeavors are based on the goal of explaining the observed atmospheric circulations on the basis of fundamental physical principles. As a result, her research has and will continue to benefit weather forecasting, the development of methods to predict seasonal and inter-annual climate fluctuations, and in understanding the impacts of human-induced perturbations – potentially helping in the understanding of how these perturbations result in increased CO2 concentrations or depletion of the ozone layer.”  Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. Her NIW petition was approved in 5 months and 15 days.
