Case Summary:

Another exceptional client that North America Immigration Law Group – WeGreened.com had the pleasure of working with was a postdoctoral research associate from Taiwan working in the field of materials science.  His work had focused primarily on improving the efficiency and lowering the cost of production of polymer electrolyte fuel cells and advanced batteries, specifically by developing more durable and more efficient membranes for use in the transport of hydrogen. To achieve success in this case, we submitted extensive documentation proving our client’s highly significant contributions to the field of materials science, including at least 7 peer-reviewed scientific articles published in leading journals and 8 conference presentations, which had been cited at least 5 times at the time of case filing.  We also submitted evidence that materials science is one of the lowest-cited fields according to the Thomson Reuters’ Essential Science Indicators Database, and further that our client specialized in energy storage and conversion, an even narrower focus, which results in an even lower citation climate. Of his accomplishments, one of the recommenders remarked: “[Client’s] research is leading us towards a future of affordable and highly efficient PEM fuel cells. If the United States were to implement PEM fuel cells in automotive and stationary applications, reliance on imported fuels could be greatly reduced.
