Case Summary:

A Chinese research scientist working in the very competitive field of nuclear engineering approached North America Immigration Law Group to help him file his NIW (National Interest Waiver) petition at USCIS. Having worked with him in the past on his EB-1A case, our team at NAILG was uniquely equipped to deal with this case. We were thus quick to recheck his credentials and were able to gather all relevant information from his updated CV and recommendations that he produced at our request. We then went ahead and used this information to complete his application and other formalities.

We were able to custom tailor his petition by including relevant information about his academic and professional qualifications in form of publications, citations, review experience, and funding. This helped us establish that he was qualified for the proposed endeavor in his field. We also shared detailed information about his research and proposed projects for the future. And since only the most highly esteemed researchers in the field are invited to evaluate the work of their peers, especially in authoritative journals, it is clear that he is seen as very knowledgeable in the field.

In recognition of the value and importance of his work, it has been granted funding by 3 leading institutions of research, namely the National Science Foundation (NSF), Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and the Consortium for Advanced Simulation of Light Water Reactors (CASL) of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). These institutions are dedicated to advancing the national interest through the support of cutting-edge research. Having established his credibility thus, we moved forward to look at the letters of recommendation.

One of these letters said the following;

[Client’s] research on reactor processes within nuclear power plants is crucial for the continued accessibility of electricity throughout the globe.”
