Case Summary:

The client that North America Immigration Law Group – WeGreened.com had the pleasure of working with in this case was a PhD student and Graduate Research Assistant from Iran.  His work had focused specifically on thermal management and packaging of high power electronic devices, including LED lights, electronic chips, and high wave length lasers.  We successfully demonstrated that his continued employment in the field would benefit those in his field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving his highly significant contributions to his field, including at least 5 published peer-reviewed journal articles. These publications had been cited at least 41 times at the time of case filing, nearly all of which were cited by independent researchers around the world, demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field of mechanical engineering.  The importance of his work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “Thermal  management is  a  critical  factor  in  many  modern  electronic  devices,  as  electric current generates excess heat in lights, lasers, computers, cellular phones, etc. In order  for  all  of  these  devices  to  operate  properly,  this  waste  heat must  be removed efficiently in  order  for the  device  to  function  properly. With his thermal management research, [he] has aided in the improvement of some of the most widely used components in technology, such as LED lights.”  Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience.
