Case Summary:

In this case, the client that North America Immigration Law Group – WeGreened.com had the pleasure of working with was an RF Application Engineer from Iran.  His work had largely focused on the development and modeling of single-phase hexaferrite magnetoelectric materials for microwave magnetic uses. We successfully demonstrated that his continued employment in the field would benefit those in his field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving his highly significant contributions to his field, including 12 peer-reviewed scientific articles published in leading journals, a book, peer review service for 7 different scientific journals in his field, as well as 3 conferences, one patent, many awards and multiple conference presentations and international conference proceedings. His publications had been cited at least 62 times at the time we filed the case byleading and independent researchers around the world, many of whom are from prestigious national and international institutions.  The great value of his work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “The military impact of improved microwave technology range from more capable radar, communications, navigation and weapons guidance systems to the active denial system (ADS), a non-lethal weapon recently developed for the US military that uses an intense microwave beam to disperse crowds and defuse potentially violent situations and is a contribution that could save the lives of many soldiers in the future. The US military is currently working on ways to make a portable version of the ADS system, and this effort has been impacted by [his] present research on the application of hexagonal ferrite materials to significantly reduce the size and weight of isolators used in a portable ADS.”  Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. His NIW petition was approved in 4 months and 16 days.
