Client’s Testimonial:
“My case must be one of the tougher ones. Thanks for your patience and every effort you made throughout the process. I will be glad to introduce your firm to my friends.”
On January 7th, 2016, we received another EB2- NIW (National Interest Waiver) approval for a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Field of Molecular Biology (Approval Notice).
General Field: Molecular Biology
Position at the Time of Case Filing: Postdoctoral Fellow
Country of Origin: Taiwan
Service Center: Nebraska Service Center (NSC)
State of Residence at the Time of Filing: California
Approval Notice Date: January 7th, 2016
Processing Time: 13 months, 5 days
Case Summary:
A client, whose advanced degrees in biological sciences and bioinformatics were obtained from a top university in his birth country of Taiwan, recently found out that his EB2-NIW (National Interest Waiver) petition had been approved. It took the USCIS 13 months to provide a decision on his case. This long processing time occurred because the USCIS transferred our client’s case to two different service centers. These complications, however, did not deter the team at North America Immigration Law Group. We raised service requests and effectively handled every aspect of communication with the USCIS. Our client’s case was eventually approved, and he is currently engaged in the final step of the green card process.
In one of the recommendation letters we included in our client’s NIW petition to the USCIS, an expert from our client’s field of molecular biology expressed that, “Progress in biological research holds the key to a plethora of future benefits. [Client’s] work in this area has been considerable, and his discoveries have brought researchers closer to achieving full comprehension of gene regulatory mechanisms through structural biology and bioinformatics.” Along with several other recommendation letters and a series of documents demonstrating our client’s influence in his field, North America Immigration Law Group successfully proved the value of his work to the Unites States.
This postdoctoral fellow’s NIW petition included data on his professional record. At the time of filing, citations of his work tallied 265. We highlighted this record along with his nine peer-reviewed publications. We also submitted evidence of his research projects, which have widespread national applications. The evidence we presented included findings determining the structural and macromolecular biology of cells and the process of transcription initiation. By clearly presenting the particulars of our client’s research, we proved that his work plays a critical role in advancing the country’s medical and scientific needs.
