Case Summary:
Exactly a year and 19 days after North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) filed an EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition on behalf of a Chinese planning engineer, Texas Service Center approved his case. We reckon it would have taken even longer for the USCIS to take action on our client’s petition had he not upgraded it to Premium Processing. Just 3 days after the case was upgraded, our client received notification of case approval.
What did the EB-1A petition contain?
Besides a well-written petition letter and copies of our client’s Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and CV, the EB-1A petition packet was partly composed of data on his various achievements. For instance, we noted the 107 times his research had been cited by other specialists in the field of electric power systems, the 28 times he judged the work of his peers, and the 7 published scientific articles to his name. Furthermore, the petition packet contained six recommendation letters signed by dependent and independent recommenders. These letters aimed to persuade the USCIS that our client’s research on applying probabilistic methods to the evaluation of power system reliability is essential to the progression of the field.
