Case Summary:

In September 2020, a process technology engineer from China approached us to help him file an NIW (National Interest Waiver) application on his behalf. With thousands of successful applications, we are already on top of the immigration game. This gave us the insight that we needed to win this case. We made certain that his academic and professional qualifications were showcased to his advantage. This helped the adjudicating authority decide in his favor.

For this, we ensured that his publication count, his citation records, his CV and transcripts, etc were all in place and presented in detail in the petition packet. We saw that in recognition of the value and importance of his work, it has been granted funding by the Ministry of Education of China and the Program of Energy Research and Development of Canada. These institutions are dedicated to promoting higher education and a more sustainable energy future and these grants are incredibly competitive.

We found evidence that, by the time we file the case, his work has resulted in 7 peer-reviewed journal articles (5 of them first-authored). And these publications have been cited a total of 15 times according to Google Scholar, thereby demonstrating that these publications are recognized and relied upon in the field of chemical engineering.

Another thing we usually ask our clients to do is obtain letters supporting their claim to expertise in the field from other established experts and peers. We have found this to be an effective way to prove the value of our client’s work to USCIS.
