Case Summary:

Recently at Chen Immigration Law Associates, we received another EB1-B approval for an assistant professor in the field of electrical engineering working at a small California state university. Our client’s work focuses on TSK modeling in solar energy systems, fuzzy methodologies for the stability analysis of energy markets, and the creation of control and state estimation for induction motor drives. Successful research in his field of endeavor has improved many systems demanded for the development of renewable energy technology, an area of critical importance to the United States. In this case, the petitioner is a premier university in the state of California. To prove that our client was internationally recognized in his research, we highlighted his research work, which resulted in at least 10 peer-reviewed scholarly articles accepted or published in leading journals and 14 conference presentations and proceedings. Furthermore, his publications have been cited at least 86 times by researchers around the world. In addition to this client’s academic successes, we had to supply further evidence to meet the standards set by the law. We did this by obtaining the highest quality of recommendation letters from both this client’s current colleagues as well as unaffiliated researchers in the field of electrical engineering.
