Case Summary:

A gifted resident physician from Jordan hired North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) to help him sort out the first portion of the green card process: the I-140 petition. After evaluating his credentials, we verified that he was a suitable candidate for EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver).

Our legal team was tasked with putting together a strong EB-2 NIW petition packet that would convince the USCIS to approve our client’s I-140 petition. We started off by counseling our client to touch base with other experts in his field of radiology and ask them to provide us with recommendation letters—we needed their support if we wanted to present an airtight case to the USCIS. With an MBBS degree and extensive experience in the field of radiology, our client’s illustrious career has led to the publication of 19 peer-reviewed journal articles (8 of them first-authored) and 1 correspondence, 44 citations to his work, and an impressive peer review record. When we filed the case, our client had already conducted 13 peer reviews on behalf of several prominent journals. We documented these achievements in our EB-2 NIW petition packet and demonstrated to the USCIS that our client is one of only a small handful of researchers who can attain such meritorious research results.

Additionally, we proved that his work on cutting-edge applications of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging is of great importance because it facilitates the treatment of various diseases, disorders, and health conditions that affect millions of individuals around the globe. Furthermore, his research career has included novel studies of other prevalent conditions, including traumatic brain injuries, brain disorders, and gynecomastia, among others.
