Case Summary:

The client that North America Immigration Law Group – WeGreened.com had the opportunity to work with in this case was a Postdoctoral Fellow from Iran. Her work has focused specifically on developing improved methodologies for detecting dangerous compounds such as nitrite and lanthanides in real samples such as tape water and meat products. We successfully demonstrated that her continued employment in the field would benefit those in her field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving her highly significant contributions to her field, including 4 peer-reviewed journal articles and numerous conference papers. Her publications had been cited at least 39 times at the time we filed the case; nearly all of the citations were by independent researchers around the world, demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field.  The importance of her work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “[Client’s] sensors are cheaper and therefore more widely applicable than those currently in use in US industries. The increased use of these sensors decidedly improves consumer safety…This substance has been shown to cause bone marrow diseases in humans, including leukemia. Unfortunately, before mentioned system, acceptable levels were below effectively detectable quantities. In other words, sensors were not precise enough to keep us safe. This is how dramatically impactful [client’s] research is to the health of the country.”  Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience.
