Client’s Testimonial:
“Many thanks for your work with our case.”
On February 26th, 2021, we received another EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) approval for a Professor in the Field of Biology (Approval Notice).
General Field: Biology
Position at the Time of Case Filing: Professor
Country of Origin: China
Country of Residence at the Time of Filing: China
Approval Notice Date: March 26th, 2021
Processing Time: 6 months, 24 days
Case Summary:
With a Ph.D. in biology, a professor from China hired us to prepare an EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition on his behalf. We evaluated his credentials before taking his case and observed that he held an advanced degree with extensive experience in biology and a greatly documented record of authorship in the field. He met all the requirements for the EB-1A visa category. Thus, we agreed to assist him in obtaining the EB1A success. To confirm the provided evidence, we included the following information in our presentation:
- We detailed that his work suggests the improvement of human health. His research certainly addresses some of the most pressing issues in understanding how cells affect human health. His strong background in cell biology has allowed his research to be particularly original, with applications such as enhancing public health and reducing health issues.
- Also, we noted the tens of peer-reviewed scientific articles (16 of them first-authored) published by him in some of the most scholarly journals in the field. Besides, we recorded our client’s peer-review participation as he judged the work of his peers 16 times, and handled more than 130 manuscripts for highly acclaimed journals.
- We were highly impressed with our client’s citation record which is 1,816 citations accrued from independent and preeminent researchers from prestigious organizations around the world. We deduced that his work has been among the most cited in the field, and he has been consistently cited more than one would expect from an average researcher in the field, purporting his significant original contributions documented by his publications, as his achievements have been widely recognized and relied upon in the field of biology.
- To corroborate further, we collected four recommendation letters from our client. He gathered all the letters from other renowned researchers in the field, thereby elaborating on our client’s influence on the field. According to one of the recommenders:
“[Client’s] research is aligned with the best interests of the U.S. as his work in enhancing assisted reproductive technology and illuminating PCOS are directly valuable for overcoming infertility in the United States.”
The USCIS spent 6 months and 24 days on our client’s case, and with the help of our team’s vigilance and strategic advice to our client, he successfully received the EB1A approval without any further request of evidence (RFE). We thank him for choosing North America Immigration Law Group to represent his EB1A application. We would also like to congratulate him on all his future endeavors.
